Life has gotten away from us!

Apologies for the major delay in my blog upkeep, the end of summer proved to be super busy for us ... but quite fun! I'm not going to spend much time in this post recapping the last month and a half and will rather entertain you with pictures. Enjoy! I promise to do better in my blog upkeep moving forward. As usual, life has been pretty entertaining her at the Boise Bordner household.
Ryder and Jeremy went on a day-long flight with my boss ... up to McCall for pancakes at the Pancake House and over to Baker City for some lunch & ice cream! Ryder had a great time!
We had a major BBQ with loads of kids, adults and fun! Thanks everyone for coming.

At the Idaho State Fair! Ryder & Jeremy went on the swings! I was nervous for Ryder, but he LOVED them!

We went to the Mariner's game with our friends Ryan and Heather Skene.

Ryder & Jeremy were in cousin Roy & Erin's wedding this summer. Quite the dashing boys they were!

Grandpa Tucker is really good and reading stories!

While in Seattle we went to the zoo with Grandma Susie and Harper & Bennett (the kids Susie watches).

Payton Turns One!

It's been quite a year for Miss P ... I'll entertain you with some pictures throughout the year.

Yoga

When I was pregnant with Payton I went to prenatal yoga twice a week for several months. We drive by the yoga studio every now and again and when we do Ryder always says, "there's momma's yoga." I showed Ryder what yoga was ... you know, "the downward facing dog" and Tucker's favorite, "the cobra." Well, last night my yoga mat was out in the living room floor from my "morning routine" (I won't go into those details now) and I'm down the hall and I hear Ryder say, "momma, I'm going to do some yoga." I said okay, buddy. Then he says, I need to do some yoga to push my baby out." Of course, that's what he associates yoga with ... me being pregnant with Payton. So I ask him where's his baby and he said, "it's in my belly."

Needless to say for a few minutes Ryder entertained me with many yoga poses/moves on how to get the baby out!

1st Birthday

We celebrated Payton Frances' first birthday this weekend, co-hosting a joint party with the Hamilton's, as Delaney Jane also turned one (the girls' birthday is one day apart, Aug 4 for Miss D and Aug 5 for Miss P)! The party was at the Hamilton's house, and Molly did a beautiful job with the decorations and set-up!

The theme of the party was "tiny two," naturally, since they are two tiny girls. For food, we had tiny-burgers, tiny dogs, tiny cupcakes, tiny veggies, even tiny water bottles (among normal sized food and drink). It was a great time! Miss P finally got her first girl toy ... a stroller and baby doll.

Impossible to get all the kids to look and smile at the same time.

Present time!

Mommies & birthday girls.

Getting ready to dig in!

Payton loved the mini cakes Molly made for the girls.

Funny.
